Originally from the Bronx and Brooklyn, Mindy has lived in the Capital District for over 50 years, after attending the University of Albany. Mindy received her B.S. in Mathematics and English and her M.Ed. in Reading from the University at Albany, and then earned her M.Ed. in Teaching the Blind and Visually Impaired from Boston College. Mindy taught the Blind for 13 years, before obtaining her NYS Real Estate Salesperson's License in 1988. Mindy joined Welbourne & Purdy Realty, where she was very successful selling Real Estate throughout the Capital Region, and eventually became manager of their Loudonville office. Mindy especially enjoyed working with first-time home buyers, where she utilized her teaching background in helping her clients learn the complex process of buying and selling real estate. Mindy took some time off after adopting her 3 amazing children from South Korea and then returned as a Reading Teacher for the City School District of Albany, in 2006. After 30* years as an educator, Mindy retired this past June and joined Miranda Real Estate Group in September 2022.
